Are you satellite based?
No, Rocky Mountain Internet is a ground based fixed-wireless service. We install a radio device on your home or business that connects with our local broadcast towers.
Do you provide a router?
We do not sell or provide the router for your service, allowing you to choose a solution that will work best for you. We do recommend certain models that are available locally or online.
Is fixed-wireless service slower or less reliable than fiber or satellite services?
No, and in fact Rocky Mountain Internet has deployed the very latest wireless technology to deliver true, reliable broadband speeds up to 200 Mbps and beyond with ultra low latency. We very carefully balance our network to ensure you have your full speed available at all times.
Do you provide home IT, business IT, or custom networking setups?
To maintain the best possible speeds and service we are focused only on our immediate network including the radio dish on your home, and do not currently provide customized networking, electrical, or IT services. However if you need more complex networking such as home security, point-to-point links between structures etc, please call us for a referral to a local professional.
